新型コロナウイルスの影響により、通勤・旅行と言った移動需要が大幅に無くなりました。
それにより影響を受けたのが交通業界です。
今回はその中でも関東の鉄道業界がどれほどの影響を受けたのか、各社の2020年4月～6月までも成績が出てきましたのでまとめてみました。
東日本旅客鉄道（JR東日本）
約1553億円の赤字（前年同期比：-269.7%）
日本最大手の鉄道会社であるJR東日本は在来線・新幹線共に利用が落ち込み最終的には1500億円を超える赤字となりました。
たった、3ヵ月でこれだけの赤字を叩き出してしまうのですから、いかに鉄道ビジネスが経費のかかる構造となっているのか分かると思います。
また、高輪ゲートウェイ駅周辺の開発やその他駅の再開発などもあり、今後も不安要素が残ります。
その他にもルミネなどをはじめ、流通部門でも大幅な減益となっています。
東武鉄道
約126億円の赤字（前年同期比：-170.4%）
都心方面への通勤需要が下がったのはもちろん、日光・スカイツリー等への観光需要も減り大幅赤字となりました。
その他、流通系・ホテル系も大幅に落としており、今後の沿線開発計画も本当に進められるのか不安な部分もあります。
関東で最長の距離を持つ鉄道会社と言う事もあり、設備維持費用が大幅にかかっているのだと思われます。
西武ホールディングス（西武鉄道）
約193億円の赤字（前年同期比：-199.3%）
観光・通勤・買い物客による鉄道需要が減少し大幅な赤字となりました。
その他にもプリンスホテルやレジャー施設も大きなダメージを受けており、完全復活までにかなりの時間が掛かりそうです。
西武ライオンズに関しても試合が無かった分や動員数を制限している部分で大きな損失を出しているようです。
京成電鉄
約139億円の赤字（前年同期比：-222.3%）
主力である成田空港と都心を結ぶスカイライナーの大幅不振により赤字となりました。
バス・タクシー・ストアーに関してもかなりの赤字で今後も厳しい状態が続きそうです。
また、休業していたオリエンタルランド（東京ディズニーリゾート）の損失も多少は受けていると考えられます。（筆頭株主）
京王電鉄
約107億円の赤字（前年同期比：-228.9%）
鉄道事業では通勤・観光の需要が落ち込み大幅赤字となりました。
ホテル京王プラザに関しても空室が目立ち、影響はかなり大きいと見られます。
また、ストアーに関しては比較的順調だったようですが、百貨店が不振に終わり、流通全体でも大幅赤字となりました。
高尾山などアウトドアのレジャー施設では比較的戻りが早いと思われるため、今後は状況が大きく悪化しない限りある一定の戻りを見せるのかと期待しています。
東急
約201億円の赤字（前年同期比：-223.0%）
鉄道・ホテル・映画・百貨店が大きな赤字となりました。
それに対して、ストアー・ケーブルテレビは好調に推移しています。
ただ、渋谷の開発を頑張っているだけあり、渋谷のIT企業がテレワークを標準導入すれば、かなりの通勤客を失う事になりそうです。
サテライトオフィス事業に力を入れていくようですが、こちらの需要もどこまで伸びるのか微妙なところもあります。
京浜急行電鉄（京急）
約91億円の赤字（前年同期比：-229.6%）
稼ぎ頭でもある羽田空港アクセス線が大幅に利用者を落とし赤字となりました。
その他、三浦半島へのレジャー需要やビジネスホテルの利用者減少も赤字の要因となりました。
流通に関してはストアーは頑張っていたようですが、百貨店が足を引っ張り営業赤字となりました。
羽田空港への需要が高いだけあって、復活にはまだまだ時間が掛かりそうです。
小田急電鉄
約163億円の赤字（前年同期比：-281.0%）
主要の鉄道はもちろん、箱根やハイアットリージェンシーなどホテル事業も大きな影響を受けて赤字となりました。
ロマンスカーの利用率もそれほど戻っておらず、かなり厳しい戦いが続いているようです。
ただ、ストアー・マンション販売は順調なようです。
昨年発生した台風により箱根登山鉄道が運休となっていましたが7月より再開になりました。
これにより多くの観光客を見込んでいただけに残念な結果であります。
相鉄ホールディングス（相鉄）
約17億円の赤字（前年同期比：-130.4%）
昨年開業したJR直通線により、都心進出を果たしましたがコロナウイルスの影響により利用者が伸び悩んでいます。
また、新型車両の減価償却費用負担も大きいようです。
ただ、営業距離が短い事もあり、赤字は大手私鉄の中でも最小となりました。
ストアー事業に関しては頑張っているようで、関東では一番早い復活を見せるのかと期待できます。
関東の大手鉄道会社は全て赤字となりました。
これまで順調だった企業がたった一つのウイルスの影響によりこれだけの赤字を出してしまうのですから驚きです。
7月以降も残念ながら客足は戻っていない見込みで、次の7月～9月でも赤字を出す企業がほとんどだと思います。
GoToトラベルキャンペーンは多くの批判を生んでいますが、鉄道会社がこれだけダメージを受けているのですから国としては何としても推し進めたいのも分かります。
まもなく、東京都もGoToトラベルキャンペーンの対象になるとの噂もあるので、少しでも回復の材料になればと思いました。
